I forgot my password - how do I change or reset it?

If you've forgotten your password to the Hoffman2 Cluster and

1) you want to connect to the production/Grid Engine partition of the cluster follow these directions:

a. Log in to the My Accounts page of the System Identity Manager (https://sim.idre.ucla.edu/)

b. In the topmost section, listed under your cluster username (e.g. 'jbruin'), click on

'Change the password for [your username] on the H2 cluster'

2) you want to connect to the preview/Slurm portion of the cluster follow these directions:

a. Log into https://coldfront.hoffman2.oarc.ucla.edu/

b. Click on Change Hoffman2 Password the top left (https://coldfront.hoffman2.oarc.ucla.edu/h2/password/)

For convenience you may set on both partition the same password but if you change it on one system (e.g.: https://sim.idre.ucla.edu/) and not on the other (e.g.: https://coldfront.hoffman2.oarc.ucla.edu/) you will have two different password.
